This BlackVue footage, which amassed over 130,000 views on YouTube since it was published less than a month ago, needs a little explanation.
Sentry Mode is a quite new Tesla feature introduced just this year. Basically, Tesla vehicles are continuously monitoring the environment around a car when it’s left unattended. There are different levels to this mode, the highest activating the car’s alarm, increasing the brightness of the center display, and playing music at maximum volume from the car’s audio system.
And this is exactly what happened in this video, captured by the BlackVue DR900S-2CH (as the Sentry Mode does not include video, and this Tesla owner had aBlackVue DR900S-2CH installed in his car). The Sentry Mode was set off by a F-15 flying by.
Appropriately, the music triggered was Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D minor”, which made the video quite special.
