In this video, we go deep into the BlackVue ELITE 9, starting with an unboxing, followed by an overview of the key features, compatible accessories and then finishing with some FAQs about upgrading from a previous BlackVue dash cam.

Notes about compatibility:

• Power cables: the new ELITE 9 models are compatible with past X Series dash cams’ electrical systems, all the way back to DR750X and up to DR970X Plus Series.
• Coaxial video cables: the ELITE 9 (like ELITE 8 and upcoming ELITE 10) uses a 6Gbps coaxial video cable, compared to the 3Gbps cable used in past models. Although it might work, it is recommended to upgrade to the newer/faster cable for best video signal integrity.
• Mounts: the camera mounts of the ELITE models are different from the past models, therefore you should use the new mount, for both the front and rear cameras.
