About Kevin

“My name is Kevin, also known as @kern417 on Youtube and Instagram. I make content with my 2018 BMW 440i. I have owned the car since it was brand new, and I have modified it quite a bit over the years. It is now making over 600whp with an upgraded turbo. I also enjoy making videos that discuss technical topics around the B58 engine and BMW platform. I’ve learned that most enthusiasts are like me and just want to know more about their vehicles and how it works, so it has been very rewarding to share my findings with the community.”

“MyDR900X-2CH 4K BlackVue dash cam has been key to knowing that my car is protected. My car is a very race spec with its manual transmission, so it’s important to have the camera filming even when I leave it parked in public spaces. However, as a car guy, I think we forget that the camera can serve many other purposes as well. It’s a great tool for safely capturing video of cool cars that you see while driving instead of trying to pull out your phone. It’s also cool to see footage from cruises with friends. I can even flip the front camera around to film vlogs or catch reactions at car meets. So while protection in the case of an accident is a big priority, I love highlighting to friends and family that it has many every-day uses to create and share content with others in the car community.”
