BlackVue is excited to announce our continued partnership with the Ignitis ON electric car competition, now in its 11th edition. This year’s event, titled “Ignitis ON: Discover the Baltic Sea!”, takes place on June 6, 2025, and promises to be more exciting than ever, especially for BlackVue users.
What Is Ignitis ON?
“Ignitis ON: Discover the Baltic Sea!” is not your average race: it’s a strategic electric car competition focused on eco-driving, route planning, and road safety, rather than raw speed. Starting in Palanga, Lithuania, and ending in Pärnu, Estonia, this year’s route covers unfamiliar terrain for most participants, making it a true challenge of efficiency and smarts.
Seventy cutting-edge electric vehicles, including teams from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, and Switzerland, will take part in this unique event. And for the first time, a large portion of the route will take place outside of Lithuania, bringing even more diversity to the competition.
Watch Live From the Driver’s Perspective
Each vehicle will be outfitted with BlackVue dash cameras, connected through Fastlink SIM cards for smooth, reliable streaming. Thanks to BlackVue Cloud, viewers from around the world can tap into these live feeds using the BlackVue App. It’s the closest thing to being in the car with the drivers.
This tech isn’t just for spectators. Event officials will also monitor camera footage to ensure that all participants follow the rules. It’s a great example of how dash cams can support both entertainment and safety.
